The MAC format supported the display of only two colors, including a pattern palette. It was used by Macintosh graphics editors to store black-and-white graphics. The maximum image size was 576×720.

Used to display files and folders in the graphical user interface (GUI) operating systems. This format can be opened with the help of the program ACDSee.
