Practically all fonts known today have an OpenType version. The format was based on Postscript and supports Unicode. It was initially developed by Microsoft, but today it belongs to Adobe.

JBIG is a standard for lossless compression of image formats. Despite the fact that it was initially developed for fax machines, it can be easily used for other types of images. Files saved in the JBIG format are smaller in comparison with the other industry standard formats like G3 or G4.
